yes! finally.

i got my anansi boys. and i'm 195 of 1000 holders of his letter to the philippines.

i did realize how much of a rip-off that letter was because it made the book a hundred bucks more expensive than the regular hardbound, but i fell in love with neil during his stay so any little thing with his essence, i want to have. silly fangirl.

anyway, when i found out about the letter last month, i bothered so many people to get one for me. i never really bothered with hard bound books as they are too expensive. but i was to jealous of maita's letter that i wanted one for myself too. even if i didn't want to support fully booked for a while (after the stress of the gaiman signing).

so i asked erik to get one for me from rockwell. he ended up buying one for me but didn't have the letter since he got it from power books. then i asked ina who didn't have time then. so i asked jan to ask his sister, who ended up buying another book without the letter again.

it suddenly dawned on me that bibliarch belongs to the fully booked family so i asked my bro to check the place out. and there was bibliarch's last copy of that particular letter. so i ended up being 195 of 1000.

and now it's with me. yey.

Congrats! I so wanted the "letter", too. But I got my copy from elsewhere (for free, too! heh heh), and it's sooo worth the wait I had to endure.
