camiguin

well, it seems i won't be able to give a follow-up to the previous entry since it is already stale news. the entry in my mind shall stay in my memory files until such time that i get to itch to write it down.

i did say i was going to camiguin after the training, and went i did. it was very interesting as we were able to gather 8 people per day during the trip. we were only expecting five. and more people makes it fun, more people makes it cheaper.

hehehe! i want to write tons of things about the trip but as usual i am pressed for time, having to catch up on my mail and blog-hopping. plus the fact that i am still in no mood to explain every little detail of my trips. if i were still blogging in biyaheng mindanao, it would be a shame. but since i'm osong duling already, i am not obliged to. harhar.

so just some tidbits:
1) the more, the merrier. the more, the cheaper. i can't say that enough.
2) we were tarzans and janes for two days sleeping in an authentic treehouse with a great view and wonderful artworks.
3) it was great seeing rowie and mike in my territory. and i'm mightly glad they enjoyed the trip very much. thanks to tatit's great tour guiding.
4) "it's a small world after all." the six degrees of separation is real! and rowie is five degrees to kevin bacon which makes the rest of the group six. yeah!
5) camiguin is very beautiful and interesting. except the hot springs are drying up which is a bad sign (possibly an indication of the watershed area being logged. tsk!)
6) e-vat is hateful. we end up talking about gasoline prices and the arroyo government on our vacation. blech. but enlightening as well.
7) interesting "game" by mike. share some trivia or interesting learning you got from your course. never thought physics can actually be very practical without having to go through computations. go francia! and rolly and tatit!

so there. after that very exciting vacation, i got sick for two days. now i'm back in cagayan in xavier estates. a great place to swim but i can't. hmph.
