mourning

again the world mourns for what happened in VA tech. when you hear a youth shoot 32 people and himself, it is pretty disturbing.

today's episode of larry king live included clips about the victims of the shootout. stories from their friends and families. it is sad sad sad to hear about promising teenagers lives cut so abruptly. of brave teachers thinking of others before himself, eventually falling victim.

neil gaiman mentioned that one of the victims is the son of hugo award winning michael bishop. i don't know michael bishop, but i got to see the work of his son jamie bishop on his website. gone too soon. he could have reached places with his skill and talent. and those other kids who fell at cho's gun.

let's pray for each other. not just for virginia tech. but for every person who feels isolated or hurt or bullied. hopefully each one can find solace in another. cliche as it may seem, misery does love company. dividing sorrow can also minimize pain.

i mourn everyday i hear news with you in it. especially with you talking. whatever school you have come from may just be cringing with embrassament for your stupidity.
