watch this: indie film watchers and teachers alike

honestly, i have no idea if it's any good. however, i have made it a point to support small independent movies like this.

haw-ang is about a nun who is also an educator in a remote community. a story which is close to home for me. no, i am not a nun and never will be, but i work with them constantly in our efforts for educating indigenous children in mindanao. so there might be a lot of similar scenes and feelings from the movie and my work. here's more about the plot of haw-ang.

for those of us whose advocacy is to help indie filmmakers, or for those of us whose advocacy is education... let's try watching this. i pray this would turn out to be a good film!
