galing. it was a good closure to the trilogy. and there should be no more fourth. make sure to stay after the credits because there still a short clip after that could possibly matter for those quite involved with a certain character.

it's great how they were able to marry a highly entertaining movie (i didn't notice it was almost three hours) with a very involving storyline and well-played characters.

johnny depp is his usual impeccable self portraying captain jack sparrow to most minute detail without missing a beat. will he get nominated again for the role? (did he win for the first nomination? i forget) geoffrey rush and bill nighy aren't so bad either. and who would've thunk orlando bloom can be such a man? (i did crush him as legolas, but that was because he was an elf. and what is it with him and period movies?)

and one scene is a definite top contender for the mtv best fight scene and kissing scene in one.
