my gifts

it hasn't exactly been the best christmas this year. despite that, i remain grateful in my heart for the many gifts i have been constantly receiving not only this year, but the many years gone by.

jan. for being so patient and loving and mababaw and for being so many many things. in you, i feel God's love concretely.

my family. despite the short tempers of my mom, my sis and my bro, we all know that it is only each other that we have. i have become who i am because of you. and i do not regret being who i am one bit.

to my dearest friends. if you smile when you get to this part, then you know that is you. and you should. madami na tayong pinagdaanan. think of every experience that we have shared together. that is definitely worth keeping.

thank you, dear Jesus, for choosing to love us despite our sinfulness.
thank you, dear Mary, for saying "yes" to God when it would have been easier to have said no.
thank you, dear Joseph, for trusting in God and loving Mary.
