a pig in the city

i just finished a chicken cordon bleu meal all by myself. it was good for two.

pig.

pero ang sarap e. and you should try their iced cinnamon (which is iced tea sprinkled with cinnamon). interesting ang lasa. parang iced tea na may cinnamon. uh. huh. uh.

dito na kayo sa blueberry cafe sa cagayan de oro. CITY!!!

(hmm... why do beauty and pogi contestants always shout the CITY!!! part instead of the town? i mean it's the actual place that makes you different rather than the CITY!!! why not say DAVAO!!! city. or CAGAYAN DE ORO!!! city. it does sound weird if you say it out loud though.)

nuninuninuninu... CITY!!!

hmmm true to life ito ha i did try this after reading your post.

para sa akin parang pangit kasi pakinggan kung isisigaw mo yung name ng city tapos biglang bababa ang boses mo pag dating sa word na city.

wala lang hehehe

lightheaded: sarap talaga dun no? though i always order the cordon bleu, di ko pa natikman ang ibang orders. hehehe!

toni: somewhat full house-ish, with a little more class ang food dun. hehehe! yummy desserts din. and they have that toy train that goes around the entire restaurant when there are kids around.

babypink: di ba? ang weird pakinggan. pero corny kung walang CITY!!! ang lugar. e.g. from ta-GUMMMM! weird. hehehe1

haven't explore CDO that well, we just dropped by last december. pero, that's quite a nice place you said. basta nice ang food ba. hehe.

bitaw, why shout "cebu CITY!" instead of "CEBU city!" ?

lol

If I were a beauty contestant (which I'm not), I would go with emphasis on the first syllable, regardless of where one's from, if the city name has two syllables. If the city has three syllables, emphasize the second syllable. If the city has four syllables, the first and third.

DA-vao CI-ty!
Ma-KA-ti CI-ty!
MAN-da-LU-yong CI-ty!
PA-ra-NYA-que CI-ty!

And of course
PUER-to Prin-CE-sa CI-ty!

babypink: mej. haha! i often mix you up with balikbayan box sa unang tingin dahil sa letrang B.

i still don't know the streets of CDO, but i think it's chaves in divisoria. tara, tara! when we are both in cdo, let's eat there. yum, yum!

candy: yup basta masarap ang pagkain, maganda ang lugar.

ganns: you owe me a demonstration when we see each other. may it be wearing your barong and my dress for the wedding. hehehe!
