three medium-stemmed roses.
the night could have stopped when he handed it to me. i could already feel myself radiate with pleasure.
but who would want to end there when there was still a fancy italian dinner waiting.
first time to taste martini. blech. reminds me too much of ginebra.
a few minutes after the last ravioli have been devoured and the bill signed, off to waterfront for dessert. the almond roca cake was disappointing, thank God there is always coke to save the day.
but what really made the night great was the listening to the sound of the waves, watching the moonlight dance daintily on the water and the candlelight casting a warm glow on our faces as we conversed about our lives.
hands down though, the feeling of joy and contentment was the best part of last night. and knowing someone shares it with you.

in fairness... na-happy ako just reading this entry.:)
it's not in the dining experience, no matter how classy it can get... the best things lie in the simplest details -- the moonlight, the waves, the glow on your faces. That is true joy. *hugs* Happy for ya, girl! Love ya!
