While the rest of the city were hunkered by Roxas St. to watch the floral parade, the gang took a ride to Darong River to let our Kadayawan guests (Ina, JC and Jan) experience the excitement of tubing.
Tubing is like white-water rafting, except you ride an inner tube (salbabida) instead of a raft. Each person has a guide to steer him through the rapids and rocks.
There was much receding in the water from the last time I tubed. Which could mean something terrible environmentally. But let me be temporarily myopic… lower water levels mean rougher waters which mean a wilder ride which means more fun.
As I am too lazy at this point to get into the details of the ride, as it is best experienced than explained, we shall let tasha show you how thrilling it is.
Bumping rocks and riding river.
Where is Jan's guide?! Baka nasilaw sa kaputian ng legs niya.
