bye, jay tan

i just came home tonight from a four-day area visit to agusan del sur, only to be met with the news that jay tan, a college batchmate, passed away. i really did not know him too well, but i had the opportunity to spend time with him occasionally. he was always friendly and accommodating, ready with a smile, a joke and song. i could just imagine how good a friend he is to those he is close too.

ganns, a college barkada, knew jay very well. he will do better justice in talking about him. it is a sad time for ganns since also lost his half-brother who was murdered in cebu.

if you could please spare a prayer for the eternal repose of jay tan and sandy deen, and those who loved them dearly.
