star trek cast

i'm no trekkie. but i am excited about the new star trek movie (even if with the dvds bro, i have not seen any) especially with zachary quinto aka sylar starring as spock and john cho aka harold of harold and kumar and american pie as sulu. yeaaaaahhh! talks about who will play kirk was still ongoing at the time when sylar was confirmed as spock.

now that the casting is out, zoe saldana as uhura ain't bad. imagine her in a 70's micro mini-trekkie uniform? vava-voom. but, uh, chris pine as kirk? he's not my type, but ain't he too good looking to be someone that william shatner once portrayed?
